The obvious possibility would be to use a stadard setteng that copies all mail to one account. Regarding your "shared inbox" I don't really know how to set that up. Since I have no idea how to get SSL working I decieded to leave that feature off until I have time to get SSL working. Configuerd and started up webmail next and liked it but decieded to turn it back of because it only works with clear passwords or SSL. Will need some more time figuering out the tweaks needed. Spam and Virus filtering is a matter of one click at first. Had a couple of frustrationg hours that night thinking things didn't work when it actually only took about 15- to 20-minutes for accounts to appear and login functionality to start working. Only "problem" in the first step is that it took some time for settings made to actually start working. To prevent open realy I decided to recquire auth. Basic mail functionality is easy to achieve. Have about 30 Users of which only about 15 were using IMAP so I just told them to take there mail local and then added new accounts to OSXS. I didn't bother migrating the MBOX files. How do you set up shared mailboxes on the built in X services? Previously there was a seperate account that the mail was copied to, who's InBox was shared and admin staff's accounts then subscribed to it (read/write). Am i right in thinking that in order to replicate the Communigate Server wide or user based 'rules' I would use sieve, which would require post fix aliases to be set up.Ģ. currently we have some shared mailboxes, for example all external mail that comes in is mirrored to a 'mail in account' that the admin staff then print and file, freeing up professional time whilst still ensuring regulatory compliance relating to records. Also how easy is it to move the textmailboxes (mbx) used in Communigate to the Xserve? The number of users involved is small, less than 25, so it would be possible to rename the accounts to the appropriate shortname before migration if that was the only way. the users in Communigate setup are not integrated with OS users, so are in the form where as on the new server firstname.lastname will be aliases of the migrated OS shortnames. ![]() how do you actually move the users and mailboxes from Communigate to Xserve?
